According to the National Oil & Lube News (NOLN) 2013 Canadian Fast Lube Operators Survey, the average oil drain interval practiced by Canadian customers is over 7,000 kilometers (nearly 4,400 miles), while the average price for a basic oil change is $48.30, the average price for a premium, synthetic oil change is $86.16 and the average ticket total is $89.77. About 63 percent of the quick lubes’ gross annual sales consist solely of oil changes.
