Ensure Your Customers Are Prepared for Winter Storage
Engine
Fogging Oil provides stored equipment long-term
protection against corrosion and dry starts, extending engine life and reducing
operating expenses.
Gasoline
Stabilizer is formulated to keep fuel from deteriorating during
storage. It reduces the oxidation process to prevent varnish and gum buildup in
gasoline, which can clog injectors, stick floats and cause poor engine
performance.

Protection and Dependability for Generations
The moving parts on firearms
(actions, bolts, hinges) must be cleaned and lubricated to ensure top
performance and long life. Hunters and shooters need their guns to perform when
called upon, sometimes after an extended period of storage, after sitting for
hours in a wet duck blind or while on a remote hunting trip with few
opportunities to clean their gun daily.
New AMSOIL Synthetic Firearm
Lubricant and Protectant (FLPBA) effectively lubricates and protects firearms,
helping extend life and prevent blockage, jams and wear. New AMSOIL Firearm
Cleaner and Protectant (FCPSC) is an aerosol cleaner and protectant that
penetrates deep into hard-to-reach components, effectively cleaning residue
from all surfaces and safely protecting guns for storage.
See the September AMSOIL Magazine for more information.
AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR® Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil Proves Itself Again in Top Three Snowmobile Brands
After a full season of abuse
in rental sleds, INTERCEPTOR
completely prevented ring sticking, piston scuffing and exhaust-power-valve
sticking in Arctic Cat*, Ski-Doo* and Polaris* snowmobiles. At the end of the
riding season, we disassembled the sleds and examined parts for deposits, wear
and other distress. In all three makes, INTERCEPTOR completely prevented piston
ring sticking, piston scuffing and exhaust-power-valve sticking.
See the September AMSOIL Magazine for more information.

AMSOIL Sales Tax Exemption Certificate Management
If you or any of your
accounts are tax-exempt, knowing how sales tax exemption certificates work and
how AMSOIL manages them will help you and your customers run your businesses more
effectively and efficiently.
Dealers and
accounts with a state sales tax exemption are required to file a
valid sales tax exemption certificate with AMSOIL. Valid exemption
certificates must be legible, complete and have a valid state sales tax
exemption claimed for the products being purchased. States will not accept
incomplete exemption certificates. Some state sales tax exemption
certificates expire automatically, while others do not have a specified
expiration date. As good practice, AMSOIL automatically invalidates sales tax
certificates with no specified expiration after three years. Some states
require certificates to be filed annually.
Dealers and accounts receive
email notifications at 45, 30, and 15 days prior to certificate expiration. It
is important to keep an up-to-date, valid email address on file for tax-exempt
accounts. If updated information is not received, the certificate in question
will be allowed to expire. Once updated information is received, Dealers and
accounts are eligible for a refund of sales tax charged during the lapse. To
request a refund, please complete and submit a Sales
Tax Adjustment Form (G20) to AMSOIL
Account Services within 90 days of product order
date.
If you are already
registered for sales tax exemption in your state(s) or province(s), but need to
file a valid tax exemption certificate with AMSOIL, please complete the Uniform
Sales Tax Certificate (G495, G495C
Can.) or
the appropriate state exemption form and submit it to AMSOIL
Account Services.
Dealer ID Cards Discontinued
Dealer ID cards were once
necessary to help Dealers remember their account numbers and show as proof of
current Dealer status. Today, the vast majority of customers and businesses
store this type of information electronically, while AMSOIL provides tools in
the Dealer Zone that allow Dealers to easily access account numbers and
membership statuses of all Dealers and Preferred Customers. Because Dealer ID
cards are no longer necessary, we are no longer issuing them to new Dealers.
Some Canadian provinces may require Dealers to carry an ID card. For those
Dealers, and any Dealers who prefer to carry an ID card, one may be downloaded
and printed from the Dealer Zone (Business Tools>Literature>Customizable
Literature>Printable Dealer Card).
P.C. Promotion Information
Going forward, Dealer
notifications announcing the latest Preferred Customer email promotions will be
posted in the Message Center and Dealer Zone only; they will not be sent
through email. We strongly encourage Dealers to log into the Dealer Zone daily in
order to be aware of the latest P.C. promotions and other important
information.

2016 Direct Jobber Convention
The 2016 AMSOIL Direct Jobber Convention will be held Oct. 6-8, 2016 at
the Marriott Waterside Hotel in beautiful Tampa Bay, Fla. The Marriott
Waterside is a 5-star hotel with a marina right out the back door. Come sit on
the back patio and watch the boats go by as you sip your favorite beverage and
visit with other AMSOIL Direct Jobbers and AMSOIL corporate staff. Attend the
corporate presentations to learn where AMSOIL is going over the next few years.
Take a stroll on the Tampa Riverwalk, also conveniently located just out the
back door of the hotel. Be part of the fun as AMSOIL Direct Jobbers (maybe
you!) are recognized for reaching higher levels of achievement and simply enjoy
the warmth of the Florida sun.
AMSOIL has secured a block of rooms for Direct Jobbers at a competitive
rate of $168 per night. Because the hotel is located in downtown Tampa Bay,
parking is at a premium. If you fly into Tampa Bay International Airport,
taking a taxi to the hotel is advised. The hotel is only nine miles from the
airport and estimated one-way taxi fare is $25. Due to limited parking in the
area, we recommend staying at the host hotel. If you decide to do some
sight-seeing on your own, the street car can pick you up right outside the
front door of the hotel and take you to places such as the Tampa Bay History
Center, Channelside Bay Plaza (shopping and dining), the Florida Aquarium or
Ybor City (described as the French Quarter of Tampa Bay).
If you decide to stay elsewhere and drive to the hotel, parking rates are
$24 per day, but for AMSOIL Direct Jobbers staying at the hotel, parking
is $12 per day.
If you wish to access the Internet from your room, we have negotiated the
price from $12 per day to only $1 per day. For the price, convenience and
camaraderie with other AMSOIL Direct Jobbers and AMSOIL corporate staff, you just
can’t beat staying at the host hotel in downtown Tampa Bay.
Keep watching for exciting news regarding the Convention’s social events
and travel incentives. We look forward to seeing you in Tampa Bay Oct. 6-8 for
the 2016 Direct Jobber Convention.
