New Compensation Plan Aims to Grow the Pie for Everyone


In the past few years, we’ve invested significant resources into strengthening the Dealer opportunity for the future. We’ve introduced free shipping for all customers and Dealers, unveiled an industry-leading e-commerce platform to boost online sales, developed programs to help you secure more commercial accounts, simplified the Dealer experience, introduced new training and more.

Now, we’re excited to tell you about the next investment designed to help you grow your Dealership and make more money in the long term: a simpler compensation plan, which we’ve named The Next 50 plan. It’s the biggest change we’ve made to the Dealer opportunity in decades, and we’ve poured thousands of hours into developing and refining it, with a lot of help from Dealers, Direct Jobbers, industry experts and consulting groups throughout the process. The plan is scheduled to take effect in the second half of 2022 and is designed to meet these goals:

• Simpler to understand & explain

• Pay new Dealers more

• Pay more closer to the sale

New Dealer Zone to Launch in February

The Dealer Zone has been overhauled to make managing your independent Dealership easier and more effective – wherever you venture. The Dealer Zone app will improve speed, control and flexibility for running your independent Dealership.

Here is the updated launch timeline:

• Direct Jobbers gain access to the new platform Feb. 2.

Access to AMSOIL University Online will be shut off Feb. 9.

• All Dealers can access the new Dealer Zone beginning Feb. 15.

To allow the data transfer from AU Online to the new platform, AU Online will not be accessible beginning Feb. 9. Uncompleted AMSOIL University coursework will not be transferred, so make sure you complete any incomplete coursework in AU Online before the shutdown date.

You can download the new AMSOIL Dealer Zone app through the Google Play Store for Android or the Apple Store for iOS. Logging into the new platform will be seamless as your current Dealer number and password will remain the same.

We appreciate your flexibility as we launch this powerful new tool for your independent AMSOIL Dealership.

Commercial Training: Advantages Provided by AMSOIL Operations

The February commercial training session will cover AMSOIL operations. Sr. Vice President, Operations Scott Davis will discuss the company’s commitment to excellence, show the Banks Speed School “How Synthetic Oil is Made” video with added commentary and conclude with a discussion about AMSOIL distribution capabilities. The goal of this training is to provide a virtual tour of AMSOIL operations. Understanding the detail that goes into producing AMSOIL lubricants and getting them to your customers can provide you great confidence in acquiring new commercial business.

30-Gal. Drums Discontinued

While AMSOIL has offered lubricants in 30-gal. drums over the years, this package size is uncommon in the lubricants industry, and securing 30-gal. drums from suppliers has been a challenge for many years. The current supply-chain issues affecting the entire industry have exacerbated this issue, and our 30-gal. drum suppliers can no longer deliver the drums we need. Therefore, all 30-gal. drum sizes are discontinued and available while supplies last. We will continue to offer 16-, 55- and 275-gal. package sizes for products currently available in these sizes.

LTL Shipping Delays

The shipping and trucking industry continues to struggle with driver and staff shortages, slowing delivery times nationwide. LTL shipments are most severely affected. To help mitigate delays, encourage customers who use LTL delivery to plan for the possibility of extended transit times.
