You might have noticed that some orders are taking longer than usual to reach you and your customers. Multiple factors are creating this issue. First, the onset of the COVID pandemic last year drove more people to shop online and dramatically increased demand for freight carriers like UPS, FedEx, Loomis and the USPS. That trend continues to strain their shipping systems and can create delays in product delivery. Meanwhile, demand for AMSOIL products is growing at a healthy rate across North America, but it is skyrocketing in certain areas. Some distribution centers, for example, are experiencing order volumes over 50% higher than the same period last year. That’s a great problem to have, but unfortunately, it is difficult to contend with. We are working overtime, increasing staff numbers as quickly as possible and hiring temporary help where we can to keep processing orders in less than 24 hours as usual. Right now, in some cases it is taking 48 hours or more to get orders out the door.

Rest assured we are doing all we can to mitigate these issues and keep our collective customers happy. Setting expectations for potential delays is one way we can prevent dissatisfaction. Thank you for helping us communicate the potential for delays to your customers and accounts, and thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges.
