New AMSOIL Retail Account Merchandising Kit Program


The Banner Kit has been discontinued and replaced with the Retail Account Merchandising Kit Program, which consists of four complimentary retail kits available to new, qualifying retail accounts. Each kit contains items that support a specific market segment:

  • AMSOIL Auto Service Center Merchandising Kit (G3362): Retail Counter Mat (G3351), 9” x 12” Window Decal (G3356) and roll of 500 Custom Oil Change Decals (G3374) 
  • AMSOIL Retail Merchandising Kit (G3363): Retail Counter Mat (G3351), 9” x 12” Window Decal (G3356) and Shelf Kit (Gondola Header [G3360], two 24” x 5” Mid-Cap Shelf Blades [G3208] and three slide-in/pop-in Shelf Strips [G3361])
  • AMSOIL Powersports Merchandising Kit (G3364): Powersports Counter Mat (G3353), 9” x 12” Window Decal (G3356), Powersports Shelf Talker (G3357) and Floor Mat (G3369)
  • AMSOIL Motorcycle Merchandising Kit (G3365): Motorcycle Counter Mat (G3354), 9” x 12” Motorcycle Window Decal (G3368), Motorcycle Shelf Talker (G3358) and Floor Mat (G3369)
New retail accounts automatically qualify for a retail kit by purchasing $300 or more of products in their market segment within 90 days of their initial order. For example, if an auto service center places an initial order of $150 on Aug. 15, it must purchase another $150 in passenger car and light truck products by Nov. 12 to qualify for a kit.

Next-Generation Vehicle Graphics Coming Soon, Co-op Requirements Relaxed


Introduced in August 2012, the AMSOIL Vehicle Graphics Program has successfully increased AMSOIL brand awareness across the country by unleashing an easily identifiable, professional- and consistent-looking Dealer fleet. After evaluating both the Vehicle Graphics Program and the graphics themselves, we are introducing a slightly modified design and easing the co-op program’s requirements in order to increase access to more Dealers and encourage increased participation.

The original co-op requirements specified vehicles had to be white or receive a made-to-order custom vinyl wrap (at increased cost), and they had to be 10 years old or less. AMSOIL is easing those requirements. Silver vehicles are now eligible for co-op assistance (without requiring the full wrap). Other light-colored vehicles and vehicles more than 10 years old are also eligible for co-op assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Dan Peterson and Mike Caruso Earn STLE Certification

AMSOIL Vice President, Technical Development Dan Peterson and Technical Product Manager - Drivetrain Mike Caruso recently achieved the status of Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS), joining Co-President and COO Alan Amatuzio and Wind Turbine Tribologist Kevin Dinwiddie as AMSOIL corporate personnel who have earned this prestigious industry certification. Monitored by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), CLS certification is defined as “the only independent certification for the lubrication professional that verifies your broad lubrication engineering knowledge. Certification recognizes those individuals who possess current knowledge of lubrication fundamentals and best practices in lubrication maintenance in industrial settings. Certified individuals must have at least three years of experience in the field of lubrication.”

AMSOIL Training on the Road

The Dealer Development group is conducting valuable Dealer training throughout the U.S. and Canada, with upcoming events scheduled in Lexington, Ky.; Richmond, Va.; Bloomington, Minn.; Chicago, Ill.; Edmonton, AB and Toronto, ON. In addition to Dealer training meetings, each location will be the site of an AMSOIL business opportunity meeting for anyone who may be interested in becoming an AMSOIL Dealer.

AMSOIL Business Opportunity Meetings
Invite your current catalog customers, Preferred Customers or others who may be interested in an independent business opportunity. AMSOIL corporate personnel will present information on AMSOIL products, the AMSOIL Dealer Program and the corporate support system. These meetings will also include successful AMSOIL Dealers sharing their personal stories on how they built their businesses.

AMSOIL Dealer Training Meetings
These meetings are for registered AMSOIL Dealers of all levels, including anyone attending a business opportunity meeting who opts to become a Dealer. The training will be focused on professional Dealer skills, concepts of the AMSOIL common buy-sell process and practical Dealer training by sub-market. The meetings will also identify exciting new tools now available to assist AMSOIL Dealers in growing their businesses.

In addition, the Richmond, Chicago, Edmonton and Toronto distribution centers will provide extended open hours of operation (9 a.m. to noon) on their Saturday meeting days to allow Dealers to pick-up product orders.
