Another Premium AMSOIL Option for European Vehicles

Additional full-SAPS option fills niche demand for 0W-40 in European applications.
AMSOIL has expanded its European Car Formula line to include a full-SAPS 0W-40 viscosity. Featuring the same premium synthetic formulation and recommended for the same specifications as European Car Formula 5W-40 Full-SAPS Synthetic Motor Oil (EFM), new European Car Formula 0W-40 Full-SAPS Synthetic Motor Oil (EFO) provides European vehicle customers with a different viscosity option.

European vehicle owner’s manuals typically require the motor oil meets a certain specification, but many list several viscosity options. Some manufacturers include temperature graphs to help customers choose a viscosity based on climate, but many customers prefer using lower viscosity oils in all environments. New AMSOIL European Car Formula 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil provides customers that lower viscosity option, and it is ideal for customers looking for a premium AMSOIL alternative to competing 0W-40 motor oils that carry European specifications.

Graphics Package Options for Merchandising Displays
Due to its success, AMSOIL will continue the Dealer Merchandising Display Co-op Program, which offers 60 percent co-op assistance on select merchandising displays to Dealers whose retail accounts make a qualifying purchase. Retail accounts that received an AMSOIL display through the program enjoyed an overall 27 percent increase in sales; retailers that qualified but did not receive a display experienced a collective six percent growth in sales. The program will continue to be a powerful sales tool for Dealers and retailers working to grow their businesses. Additional options have been implemented to provide a more effective message geared toward individual retailers. Dealers whose retail accounts qualify for the Large Metal Display Shelf (G3215) may now choose which interchangeable graphics package their Display Shelf comes with: “Move Up” Graphics Inserts (G3215G), Motorcycle Graphics Inserts (G3217), Marine Graphics Inserts (G3283) or Snowmobile Graphics Inserts (G3218).

Individual display units and interchangeable graphics packages may also be purchased at regular wholesale prices through the Dealer Zone.

Kevin McBride Retires

After 24 years of service, AMSOIL Vice President, Marketing and Communications Kevin McBride has retired.

“I want to wish Kevin all the best in retirement and thank him for his commitment and many contributions to AMSOIL over the past 24 years. The AMSOIL voice has been in his highly skilled hands and he has set the standard in professional communications for us to follow into the future,” said AMSOIL Chairman of the Board Al Amatuzio.

Telephone Ordering Expanded Hours

The AMSOIL telephone ordering department is now available to take orders from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday.

AMSOIL Website Undergoing A/B Testing

AMSOIL is currently testing different graphic, copy and navigation options on its website. A certain number of new visitors to www.amsoil.com will see these variations, while previous visitors and other new visitors will not. This testing will benefit all Dealers through website improvements designed to increase sales, and AMSOIL asks Dealers to do all they can to avoid unintentionally skewing the test results (clearing cookies, visiting www.amsoil.com through a different computer, etc.).

AMSOIL to Take Training on the Road

Dealer Training and Business Opportunity Meetings Coming to Lexington and Richmond
Building a successful business and a stable, high-performing personal group is not easy. It’s a learning process, takes hard work and no matter how successful an AMSOIL Dealer is, there’s always more to learn and room to grow. With that in mind, AMSOIL will be conducting valuable Dealer training in the mid-Atlantic region. Comprehensive training events are being held in Lexington, Ky. August 12-13 and Richmond, Va. August 15. In addition to the Dealer training, each location will be the site of an AMSOIL business opportunity meeting for anyone who may be interested in becoming an AMSOIL Dealer.

AMSOIL Business Opportunity Meetings
AMSOIL Dealers are encouraged to invite current catalog customers, Preferred Customers or others who may be interested in an independent business opportunity. AMSOIL corporate personnel will present information on AMSOIL products, the AMSOIL Dealer Program and the corporate support system. These meetings will also include successful AMSOIL Dealers sharing their personal stories on how they built their businesses.

AMSOIL Dealer Training Meetings
These meetings are for registered AMSOIL Dealers of all levels, including anyone attending a business opportunity meeting who opts to become a Dealer. The training will be focused on professional Dealer skills, concepts of the AMSOIL common buy-sell process and practical Dealer training by sub-market. The meetings will also identify exciting new tools now available to assist AMSOIL Dealers in growing their businesses.

These events will be free-of-charge and refreshments will be available. In addition, the Richmond Distribution Center will provide extended open hours of operation (Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. to noon) so Dealers attending the training meeting can pick-up product orders. This mid-Atlantic training swing is the second of many such events that AMSOIL will be conducting in North America in the months ahead.
