AMSOIL field
research indicates that independent retailers are more likely to purchase from
suppliers who provide free shipping and delivery within two days. With the
AMSOIL network of distribution centers, the vast majority of AMSOIL orders are
already delivered within two days. And, since retail accounts don’t qualify for
purchase and freight discounts or commissions like Dealers, Preferred Customers
and commercial accounts, AMSOIL will help Dealers increase their sales to
retailers and installers by extending free shipping to retail accounts
effective April 1.
Retail accounts
receive free shipping for orders totaling $300 ($400 Canada) or more. If the
order total is less than $300, a flat shipping rate of $9.99 ($11.99 Canada)
will apply. Accounts that pick up their orders from an AMSOIL distribution
center or employ group-ship or freight-collect options receive a 2 percent
discount on their order total.
Free shipping is
available for retail accounts in the continental U.S. and Canada. It is not
available in Alaska or Hawaii at this time. Additional charges may still apply
if customers require lift gate, call before delivery or other special services.
Interline fees will also still apply for shipping to remote areas of Canada.
