Team owner Steve Scheuring was the first to field a non-OEM sponsored snowmobile team in 1997 with the introduction of the AMSOIL snocross team. For the past 15 years, Scheuring has worked hand-in-hand with AMSOIL on the development and on-site testing of new products.
