AMSOIL Unveils New Online Business Tools

The AMSOIL Dealer Zone has been redesigned with the goal of improving navigation, ease of use and searchability. In addition, the Dealer Zone has moved to its own website created specifically for AMSOIL accounts. Now Dealers can simply bookmark http://myaccount.amsoil.com/ and surf directly to the information pertinent to running an AMSOIL business.

The Dealer Dashboard is a new tool offering enhanced reporting services to Premium Dealer Zone subscribers. The Dashboard provides a quick, easy review of business statistics, including new customers and leads, account expirations, personally-sponsored customers, pending commissionable orders and 13-month earnings history.

AMSOIL has created a series of web-based tools with shortcuts that can be installed on many popular mobile devices including iPhone™, Android™ and newer Blackberry™ platforms. Applications optimized for mobile devices include the Auto/Light-Truck Product Application Guide, Dealer Dashboard, Message Center and Product Price Look-Up tool. New mobile apps can be accessed by clicking the navigation icon in the new Dealer Zone or by browsing to http://myapps.amsoil.com/.

Signature Series 0W-20 Packaging Change

AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil (ASM) is now packaged with green labels and caps. The new packaging will begin appearing in July as inventory of Signature Series 0W-20 packaged with silver labels and caps is depleted.

Jiffy Lube Drops 3,000-Mile Oil Change Recommendation

Vehicle manufacturer-recommended oil change intervals have increased well beyond the traditional 3,000-mile interval in recent years. Ford recommends 10,000-mile drain intervals with its 2011 vehicles, while vehicles equipped with electronic oil monitoring systems often allow extended drain intervals of up to and even beyond the 10,000-mile mark.

Most recently, Jiffy Lube has also abandoned the traditional 3,000-mile drain interval, recommending customers follow the manufacturer-recommended interval. The new recommendation is currently in place at more than 70 percent of Jiffy Lube locations, with the balance expected to participate by the end of the year.

Outdoor 10’ x 10’ Event Tents Available

AMSOIL has made a special purchase of 40 10’x10’ E-Z Up Eclipse II Tents. Ideal for both outdoor and indoor trade shows and events, these AMSOIL-customized tents (G2741) have an overall height of 12’7” and are specially priced for T-1 Certified Dealers. The one-piece high-strength steel frame collapses down to 60”x12”x12” and comes with a carry bag. The black 500D polyester top and four side walls are coated to resist water, ultraviolet rays and mildew, and are fire-retardant-treated to meet fire code CPAI-84. The AMSOIL logo is printed on all four peaks and one of the side walls, and the tents include a set of heavy-duty stakes for securing in inclement conditions. The full retail price of the tent is $1,100, but it is available to T-1 Dealers at a 50 percent co-op of $550 U.S. ($599 Canada). The tents ship in two boxes: one weighing approximately 80 lbs. and the other approximately 40 lbs. Due to the limited quantities and large frame size, shipping for U.S. orders will be from Superior. The average insured UPS ground delivery is $70. Canadian orders will ship from Edmonton and Toronto. Tents are available only while supplies last. Tent orders must be placed individually through Telephone Ordering, and actual freight costs plus insurance will be charged.

AGGRAND Natural Food Plot Formula Now Available in Wisconsin

AGGRAND Natural Food Plot Formula (NFP) has been registered with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture for distribution in Wisconsin. AGGRAND Natural Food Plot Formula, Natural Fertilizer, Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash and Natural Liquid Lime can now all be sold and distributed in Wisconsin. AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer Gains Certification into USDA BioPreferred Program

AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer (NOF) has gained certification into the USDA BioPreferred Program. Under the program, products are considered biobased if they are composed wholly or significantly of biological ingredients — renewable plant, animal, marine or forestry materials.

Products certified in the program carry an easily recognized label icon to help consumers make informed choices. Claims about the presence and amount of biobased ingredients are third-party certified and strictly monitored by the USDA.

The “USDA certified biobased product” icon will soon appear on AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer marketing material. AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer will also be listed among products that meet the USDA requirements on the agency’s website at http://www.biopreferred.gov/.
